Conference on Knowledge Strategies for the European Innovation Economy

Conference on Knowledge Strategies for the European Innovation Economy was held on 30-31 March 2009 in Helsinki, Finland. The conference was the final event of the first phase of VISION Era-Net, and was organized jointly by Ministry of Employment and the Economy and Tekes – Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation.

The conference brought together a selected group of policy makers from European and other countries, from the European Commission, as well as the leading scholars on innovation. The conference focused on the latest trends in government sponsored research and foresight on innovation, and discussed strategies to mobilize knowledge into workable public policies.
